2/3/08 Kaiser Half Marathon

After fighting a cold all week, my goal of beating my pr of 1:29:26 look pretty shaky. Living the house at 5:30, I thought I had lot's of time to find a parking space near the finish. WRONG!! Had to park on 43rd Ave. even though I got there at 6. Anyway, had a nice warmup, started well and kept a steady pace throughout the race. hardest of course was the last 7 miles along the Great Highway, running against the wind the last 3 and it was pouring rain. Time 1:32:43, not bad considering the weather.
